Weight Loss After Pregnancy

Hi! I am a Blessed Mommy to eight children, and yes, they are all mine (& my husband's)!!! So if you haven't guessed, I have weight to lose from my last pregnancy. I am not able to diet due to the fact that I am nursing. However, I am trying my best to eat well... lots of fruits & veggies... I haven't updated this blog since 2008, so I am getting ready to get started again here in 2009.

Food Diary

Breakfast

  • Coffee with creamer, 2 cups (150)

Lunch (another VERY busy day)

  • 2 cups Tazo Chai Tea with sugar (1/4 t) and 1 T skim milk (20)
  • Protein Bar (145)

Snack

  • 1 Slice Chicken Quesadilla (95)
  • Total: 95 (590)

I spent all afternoon in my kitchen cooking with my dear sister in Christ...I didn't have much time to eat.

Dinner

  • Ham & Cheese sandwich
  • ~5 oz. lean ham (320)
  • ~1 slice American Cheese (70)
  • ~Lettuce (free)
  • ~1 slice tomato (free)
  • ~Whole grain roll (150)
  • potato soup, 1 cup (250)
  • 2 cups Tazo Chai Tea--fixed as above with raw whole milk--(28)
  • Pecan cookie (75)
  • Total: 804 (1483)

Snack

  • Kashi Granola Bar (140)
  • Milk, 1 1/3 cups (120)...changed brands again (90 calories/cup)
  • Banana, tiny in size (50)
  • Herbal tea (free)
  • Total: 310 (1783)
